Python Developer – Hedge fund

My client is a global leading hedge fund with office in Hong Kong. They are seeking to hire a Python Developer to join their team in Hong Kong.

Being part of the team, you will work on software projects with a focus on trade analytics and position monitoring tools development, which potentially will be rolled out globally.

This is a front office facing role, as such, good communication skill and previous business domain experience is needed.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with trading desk, quants and other IT team to work on technical solutions delivery
• Develop enhancements and/or build new solutions for trade analytics and position monitoring
• Define development/project plans with key milestones in line with strategy and own the full delivery.
• Working with the team in developing the strategic core infrastructure
• Stakeholder management

Requirement
• Solid development experience in python
• Good business knowledge on Financial derivatives products, particularly foreign-exchange and interest-rate derivatives.
• Web based front end development experience is a big plus (such as ReachJS, Electron Library and Websockets)
• Trading desk development experience is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English
